Orthodontics are used when teeth are not perfectly aligned together upon biting. Proper positioning of the teeth permits better mastication, reduces gum inflammation, and improves the smile. An uncorrected malocclusion can negatively affect the physical profile of a person.

Fixed Orthodontics - utilizes metallic brackets or ceramics that adhere to the teeth in order to achieve correct alignment. Costs are comparable to traditional braces, typically varying depending on the complexity and length of treatment.

Orthopedics - early detection of the unbalanced position of the jawbones in order to correct the problem by means of specialized apparatus with the goals of avoiding the future extraction of teeth and achieving a perfectly aligned profile. Orthopedics serve in many cases to avoid fixed orthodontics and orthognathic surgery.
Orthognathic Surgery - used when the bones of the jawbones do not have proportional size; results in better facial aesthetics and symmetry.
